How the Conversion Table Generator Works
The Conversion Table Generator builds a kilograms to liters lookup table at any density. Enter one mass and density in the calculator to spot-check a row.
Choose the density
Pick the density of the product the table is for.
Pick the mass steps
Use 1 kg steps for kitchens or 10–100 kg steps for warehouses.
Divide each mass
Liters = each mass ÷ density; the table below shows 3 densities.
Round and label
Round to 2–3 decimals and print the density and temperature on the table.
Conversion Table Generator Formula
Each row of the conversion table uses Vi = mi ÷ ρ. The step between rows stays fixed at Δm ÷ ρ.
- mi
- Mass in row i, kg
- Δm
- Mass step between rows, kg
Worked Examples
- Row step at 0.80 kg/L: 1 kg ÷ 0.80 = 1.250 L per row.
- Row step at 1.20 kg/L: 10 kg ÷ 1.20 = 8.333 L per 10 kg row.
- Spot check: 25 kg at 1.00 kg/L = 25.000 L.
Conversion Table Generator Conversion Table
At 0.80 kg/L every kilogram adds 1.250 liters; at 1.20 kg/L every kilogram adds 0.833 liters. The table is a generated sample at 3 densities.

What is a Conversion Table Generator?
A Conversion Table Generator is a tool that creates a ready-made kilograms to liters lookup table for one density.
A lookup table saves time where the same product is weighed again and again. Staff read the row instead of doing division on a phone.
Every table needs its density and reference temperature printed at the top. A diesel table at 0.832 kg/L gives wrong answers for a product at 0.845 kg/L.
What are the Uses of a Conversion Table Generator?
There are 4 main uses of a Conversion Table Generator.
Warehouse wall charts
Teams look up drum volumes from scale readings.
Kitchen prep sheets
Cooks read liters for weighed sauces.
Fuel depots
Staff convert dispensed mass into liters.
Training material
Trainers hand out tables for one product line.
